I think Egg Cups are adorable, especially with an egg in them...even cuter? Turning them into mini vases. Love, Love, Love. <3

Museum Wedding
My brother got married at a beautiful mansion last weekend, so of course it got me on a wedding kick, even though I'm not even engaged yet! I have had my theme planned out for awhile (what girl doesnt?) and if I could have my wedding ANYWHERE I wanted, I would have it at Versailles in France..a girl can dream. Well, since the last couple to get married at Versailles was Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni, I figured my chances were slim to none, hah! So I was thinking, realistically of course, where would I have my wedding? And then it came and smacked me in the face...a MUSEUM! What a dream come true to walk down the aisle surrounded by masterpieces? It would be like having the artists there as my guests...perfection! It seems that there are actually quite a few museums in the US known to host weddings, including the Art Institute of Chicago? (According to a wedding venue website) What a dream, I wont be married for awhile so I guess I can start saving my money! ;)

Fainting Couches
Has anyone heard of "Fainting Couches" ? I found some cute ones online and I knew there had to be some meaning in the name. A fainting couch is a backless couch with typically one end raised to recline upon. Though couches like this might have been made prior to the 19th century, the fainting couch wasn’t commonly referred to as such until the 19th century. The fainting couch was made for women, especially since so many women in the 1800s wore corsets. Corsets kept a woman breathless, making it much more likely she would faint. Some homes, and hotels even had fainting rooms, where women could catch their breath on a fainting couch.
Here are a few! I want a velvet one! I love the story behind it ;)

Christian Louboutin
My favorite shoe designer, hands down, Christian Louboutin. Christian Louboutin is, of course, French! As a young boy, he visited many French nightclubs and became fascinated with Parisian showgirls and their attire. His inspiration comes from them and thank goodness because they are CUTE! For my wedding day, I want a pair :)

Look of the week; Morning garden
Look of the week is inspired by a gorgeous picture of parsley. I loved the colors and what the picture reminded me of. There is that early morning sky, which changes over from the dark blue from 4-6ish in the morning and when the sky gets to that 7AM sun. Its a beautiful shade of blue, the grass looks a warm green and everything feels so fresh. I chose colors to match (I have a new obsession for ripped skinny jeans by the way, especially in white) and as for the earrings, i chose them for their shape, texture and color. Enjoy!
